American Baby Pageant

Age Divisions
Age Divisions: Age is determined by the contestant's age on the day of the pageant.
Birth certificates are not required (but may be requested by Pageant personnel).
Baby Miss (0-11 mos)
Dainty Miss (1 years old)
Mini Miss (2 years old)
Tiny Miss (3 years old)
Little Mr (0-3 yrs)
*If enough contestants to make a division of 6 - divisions may be divided - must be at least 3 weeks in advance of pageant.
Formal Wear
Mandatory Event. Formal Appearance category is also known as “beauty.” Music provided. The dress can be custom or off-the-rack. The dress is up to contestant’s choosing, but should be formal (Natural or Glitz). Remember, this is a competition. No Make-up allowed. Time Limit: 1 minute.
Theme Wear
Mandatory Event. Theme: Halloween Wear. Contestants should wear an outfit or costume that reflects the theme. They can wear any outfit that reflects a costume. The outfit should not be a full costume with mask or furry (as at Halloween). Outfits may be custom or off the rack. Theme attire could include a decorated outfit, embroidered work, or costume. Theme attire is whatever you make it. Be creative! You may use custom music for this event. Props are allowed but not required. Judging will be based on creativity of theme attire, personality/stage presence and overall appeal. Time Limit: 1 ½ minutes.
Photo Contest
Optional Event. (separate fee)
Photogenic – “Baby Photo Supreme”
The contestant is judged by photograph only. Awards will be given to the two overall winners (based on 1-10 score). One photo is included in registration fee. Up to four additional photographs may be submitted (*additional fee). The contestant will submit a professional headshot or body shot. The photograph should be labeled with the contestant’s name, age division. The photograph may be in black and white or color. Judging will be based on facial beauty, expression, overall appeal, and quality of actual photograph. Photo sizes should be 8”10” or 8 ½”x 11”. Photographs are due at Pageant Registration and may be picked up after registration at pageant registration table.
