Judging Criteria

WINNING:
Contestants will be scored in the on-stage events. Ultimate Grand Supreme is the contestant with the highest combined scores in mandatory events. Photo will be judged on a 1-10 scale for facial beauty, overall expression, and appeal according to the judge's opinion. Mini-optionals are according to the judge's opinion based on a 1-10 score. for that specific category.​​

CRITERIA DEFINED:
Criteria is according to the judges' opinion according to the specific category. The judges' opinion is based on the specific category and the other categories performances are not considered. See paperwork for exactly what is judged during specific category.​
This is what the judges are looking for:

Beauty is based on the contestants facial beauty, complete make-up wear (if worn/applicable), and neatness of contestant neck up.

- For the American Baby Pageant, Formal Wear is judged only on Beauty & Overall Appearance.
Creativity is based on the originality of the outfit and how well it fits together and matches theme.

Personality/Stage Presence is judged on the contestants character on stage. The contestant should be happy, excited and want to perform for the judges. The personality/stage presence will also include eye contact with judges and audience and confidence.​

Overall Appearance is judged on the overall look, how everything fits together, and the initial impression for the specific category.​​ Is the child wearing formal wear? Does the theme wear fit the theme?
